Literate Lamanchas Aunt Polly
Polly is an exciting little doe out of Scout and Kastdemur's Aqua Lad. We knew she was going to be something special the moment she popped out. She is a large, wide, dairy, level and dairy girl, and we have high hopes for her.
Polly is milking through for 2023.

Zut is Shawn's new junior herdsire, from Sunrise Farm in North Carolina. We are so excited to have him and hoping he will do great things for our herd. His sire, GCH +*B Windrush Farms IRS Charmer, was 2x Premier Sire at the ADGA Nationals, and his dam, SGCH Kickapoo Valley Jagged Zehava, was a Top 10 milker as a 2 year old, and was still milking over 3,000# as a 9 year old. She has had multiple sons on the Young Sire Development List, and several SG and SGCH daughters. This little guy has it all in his background. Not to mention that he's quite the looker himself.
We were very pleased with Zut's first kid crop, and are retaining all of his doelings. One of his daughters was Reserve Jr. at the Lelia Berry show in July, and one of his sons was Reserve Alpine Jr. at the Megabucks show in May.
Zut's dry yearling daughter, Tuva Acres ZA Gallette, was 7th place senior dry yearling at the 2019 ADGA Nationals in Redmond, OR. She has an amazing topline, and she freshened with a gorgeous udder. We are very please with 2020's kid crop as well, and are retaining 3 of his daughters.
Zut was collected in December 2021 and we have straws available.

Starbuck is the son of Crown-Hill RTW Shylark and Barnowl Ambroise. He is a large, very striking boy, with an extremely gentle personality. He is a pleasure to handle and is a big baby.
We are very pleased with Starbuck's offspring. One of his doelings in particular stands out in the crowd. Literate Lamanchas Mme. Maxime was Grand Champion Lamancha Jr. at the Lelia Berry show in 2018, so has her dry leg. Another daughter, Literate Lamanchas Karana, was Reserve Champion Lamancha at the 2022 Lelia Berry Memorial show.
Starbuck consistently gives us wonderful toplines, deep bodies and beautiful udders in his daughters. We are very pleased with what he is doing for our herd. We had him collected in 2021, after he developed calculi and had to have a urethral process amputation. Thankfully, he is still fertile and was able to breed does for us, though it resulted in a slightly lower collection semen collection rate. He continues to do well and we will be using him heavily again this year.
We have a very limited amount of semen available from Starbuck.

Shawn's herdsire from Missdee's French Alpines. Porthos is a big, tall, masculine, flashy, level boy, with an outstanding pedigree. He also placed first in all his classes at the 2017 Megabucks show and was Reserve Champion in 2018. His first crop of daughters has freshened, and one has dry leg as a kid (at her first show), and another has her first championship leg as a yearling milker (first show as well). Eclair has a lovely udder and is proving to be a strong milker.
Porthos just received a VVV 88 on his linear appraisal in May 2018, with E's in rump and back. We are very pleased with his scores, as he continues to improve each time.
Porthos was collected in December 2021 and we have straws available.

3*M Kickapoo-Valley Colorme Dharma 3-3 FS90 VEEE
DECEASED
Show Records
- Roseburg Show 2015 - 2x Best Udder of Breed
- ADGA National Show 2015 - 9th place / 3rd place udder 2 year old
- NWODGA Show - 1xRsCH, 1xGCH, BOB, & BUOB
Dharma has been bred to Featherbrained Calcutta for March kids. Unfortunately, we lost her single buck kid. Even more sadly, we lost Dharma a few months later to a long illness. Thankfully, we still have some of her descendants in our herd.

DECEASED
Falke is our beautiful herdsire from Fir Meadow Lamanchas, and we are very excited to have him. He is already improving general appearance and rear legs and feet in our herd.
Falke received his SG designation, and we are so pleased.
Falke's dam, SCGH Fir Meadow XON Yodel, appraised LA EEEV 90 at 7 years old, and she finished her championship and took BUIS at the 2015 Josephine County Fair. I just adore this doe. She is so dairy, has an amazing udder, and wonderful feet, pasterns and legs. She is also no slouch in the milk department. When I heard she had a son available, I jumped at the chance to get him.
His sire is *B Tempo Cai Daniel 2-05 LA 89 VEE -*B Lucky Star's Cai ( dam is LS
Vivian LA 94) x SGCH Tempo Hannah 5*M.
His yearling daughter has increased milk over her dam and increase in smooth blending with more correct mammary. She already has one GCH and RGCH in milk at 1 year old. LA 89 on her and 10.6 milk.
Falke was shown at the Megabucks Show in Grants Pass on 5/7/16. He placed first yearling in all 3 rings, and Reserve Champion in one ring. Not bad for a yearling buck! He placed first in all his classes in 2017 as a 2 year old. He just appraised VEV 88 in June 2017--our highest score, along with Belle, with an E in rear legs and dairy strength, and Vs in head, shoulder assembly, back, rump, general appearance and body. We are very proud of him. He's looking very strong and we are pleased with how he's maturing. He will be sticking around for a long time. Not only that, but he is a very sweet, easy to handle boy (though a little rude when he's in rut, but never aggressive or mean).
Falke has improved legs and feet, and general appearance in our herd.
4*M Barnowl J Karma
SOLD
Karma is the daughter of our newest addition, Kickapoo-Valley Colorme Dharma. Karma was a late born kid, born in November of 2017, and she and her sister were the only kids at that time. She is a bit spoiled. Karma seems to have inherited her dam's gorgeous udder and is turning out to be a serious milker.

MissDee's SRC Sundae Morning DECEASED
E/F s1 Casein
Sundae Morning will be a brood doe only, as she unfortunately suffered a case of gangrene mastitis as a FF that took half of her udder and we opted to have a mastectomy done last year to remove the remaining half. She is a lovely doe, with wonderful bloodlines, that we were happy to add to our herd.
Unfortunately, we lost morning to a freak accident in 2020. Thankfully, we still have several of her descendants to carry on.

Rebekkah 2YO
2013 Jackson County Fair
Fir Meadow Val Rebekkah 2*M **DECEASED**
A/A s1 casein
Rebekkah is our beautiful Fir Meadow doe, the dam of Beatrix and granddam of Alanna, Andromeda and Dorothy. In 2013, she qualified for the American Lamancha Silver Earring Award and the ADGA Youth Honor Roll for her butterfat, and missed protein by just 4 lbs.! No wonder her kids are so big and grow so fast--she has good, rich milk. She is a big girl, with great capacity and dairy qualities, friendly, quiet and easygoing.
Rebekkah received an LA score of 84 in 2013. Unfortunately, she was very fat and out of condition, and did not score well in 2014--down to a 79 (A+FA). We skipped appraising her in 2015, as she was still very out of condition. We have had her on a diet, so she has slimmed back down somewhat and kidded with a single doeling this year. Unfortunately, due to her diet, her milk production is not as high as it would normally be.
Rebekkah had been used as my daughter's 4H goat. She was grand champion 2 year old milker (grand champion yearling milker in 2012) at the Jackson County Fair.
Rebekkah is now retired and is living out the rest of her life here with two wether companions.

Fir Meadow ALP Crazy About You DECEASED
Cowie is the son of Kastdemur's Good To Be Bad, who was a 2009 Colorama Sale doeling and 2009 2nd place dry yearling at Nationals. We felt he would be an excellent addition with those bloodlines.
Cowie was shown at the Mega Bucks show in Grants Pass on 5/4/13 and placed third in his classes to some very stiff competition. He did very well in 2014, coming in second to the buck who was Grand Champion in one ring.
He comes from outstanding milking lines and his first daughter (SG Literate Lamanchas Alanna) earned her SG designation (most likely for production, as she is ranked 84th percentile). Unfortunately, we lost the other daughter due to severe bloat, so we will have to wait and see how his daughters produce.
Cowie left our herd on 5/15/15.

+B Too Much Bucks Bad Medicine is our 6 year old buck from Jennifer Bryant of Too Much Bucks. Jocelyn "won" him by writing an essay about why she wanted a Lamancha buck and how she would take care of him. Very generous of Jennifer to provide this program for youth.
"Stinky Pants" has produced some very nice offspring for us, and his daughters have been milking well as first fresheners (9-10 pounds of milk per day at peak) and all received their milking stars. He gave us some very nice bucklings and doelings. He is a kind, gentle, easygoing fellow, nice to handle and a good first buck for us. He passes on his disposition to his offspring as well.
Stinkman went to his new home on 5/23/15. He will be herdsire for 2 herds in Medford.
Missdee's DN Chocolatine (Coco) ++++ 83
Coco is Maddie's sister. She is more refined and not quite as strong as her sister, but she is still quite lovely. She is milking very well and is very well behaved on the milkstand, both for hand and machine milking. Coco also has a lot of growing and filling out to do.
Coco was bred to Missdee's DN Porthos on 3/25/16 for March kids. Coco produced 1 doeling (Eclair) and 1 buckling. She did need some assistance with the buckling, as he was full breech, but she delivered the doeling first on her own.
Coco now resides in a herd in Talent, Oregon.

Tuva Acres PT Tobias
DNA verified
Tobias is the son of *B Missdee's DN Porthos and Tuva Acres ZA Sofia. We are using him this year as his sire is recovering from a respiratory illness and we are concerned about the effect of the antibiotics. Tobias should bring his dam's lovely udder to the program, and hopefully his sweet disposition. We are using him on all of our younger does who were sired by Zut. Tobias has gone to live with a new herd as a junior herdsire.
